ERN CRANIO - how to communicate about visible differences

Target audience: parents, healthcare professionals, teachers, and more. Content of this course includes: • How to adapt language depending on age of the child, how to communicate & consider in different ages • Finding words/expressions that are ‘safe to use’ • Include examples on how to express: type of questions a medical doctor could ask, but also how parents could prepare the child for surgery. • How to prepare a child on how to react to other people’s questions: other kids, at school, parents and doctors • Differences with girls & boys in teenage years
