The activities grouped under this work package are linked to the overall objective of ERN CRANIO to improve quality of care, by enhancing diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of patients with rare craniofacial anomalies and ENT disorders. With the development of guidelines the CRANIO network will set the standard for high quality care and a multidisciplinary approach.
For some rare conditions, there are no guidelines available at this moment. Guideline development will enhance standardization of procedures and treatment protocols.
An update on this guideline is work in progress and expected to be ready at the beginning of 2019.
The Dutch guideline on cleft lip and palate is being translated and will be made available soon.
The working group on Craniofacial Microsomia is planning to develop a European guideline within the coming year.
