The HP can contribute to the networks activities with a large number of patients followed as part of the clinical follow up, with a full compliance to the international standards of care. Our centre has the advantage to have pediatric neurosurgeons, maxillofacial surgeons, ENT surgeons, pediatricians and pediatric Intensive Care physicians that cooperate in the management of patients with craniofacial anomalies and ENT disorders. The ward of Pediatric Neurosurgery has specialised staff trained for these disorders.

The team is also involved in clinical research, in the attempt to provide the best standard of care to patients with craniosynostosis, with thanks also to the constant relationships and cooperation with other European centres (Pediatric Neurosurgery, Hopital "Pierre Wertheimer", Lyon; Pediatric Neurosurgery, Hopital 12 de Octubre, Madrid). Genetic research is another important activity of our team, that is actively involved in the International Craniosynostosis Consortium.
